Evaluation of digital medical technologies in Belgium

Recently, the Belgian Healthcare Knowledge Center (KCE) published a report on the evaluation of digital medical technologies, to which Sven and Frank participated as stakeholders and Domien contributed as an external validator.

The report investigates how digital medical technologies are evaluated, how existing evaluation frameworks have been used in the past, and what we can learn from the existing frameworks to establish a future evaluation process. The report emphasizes the need for step-by-step advancement of the future evaluation system to leave room for revisiting and adaptation where needed.
